We recognise that achieving excellence in these areas requires a collaborative effort within Port Waratah. Employees share responsibility for mitigating social and environmental risks in their daily activities.
Our Environmental Management System (EMS), certified to ISO 14001:2015, provides a systematic approach to managing potential environmental impacts and responding to changing conditions. We regularly review our progress toward annual objectives and targets to assess environmental performance and identify further improvement opportunities. An annual programme of internal audits ensures that EMS requirements are implemented within operational activities.
