Improving dust suppression practices
Monitoring air quality and acting responsibly are fundamental to the success and integrity of our operations.
If not effectively managed, we recognise that the scope and scale of our activities have the potential to generate dust, which could negatively impact the surrounding community and environment. To address this, our control systems, processes, and management techniques are industry-leading, designed not only to minimise dust creation but also to eliminate any potential adverse effects wherever possible.
To improve dust management during maintenance outage periods, we proactively applied Gravel Grip and other approved dust-suppression products to hardstand areas at Kooragang Terminal in 2025. These measures stabilise exposed surfaces and minimise dust emissions across our operational areas.
