In April 2025, Port Waratah hosted an Innovative Problem-Solving Workshop for employees at the University of Newcastle’s new 6-Star Green rated building. Sixty employees explored practical, AI-driven solutions, led by Brad Twynham, a renowned Leadership, Technology and First Nations speaker.

For many attendees, it was their first hands-on experience with AI. The session introduced prompt engineering and demonstrated how tools such as Copilot can streamline work, support decision making and enhance innovation.
